Welcom to this week’s blog. Got another dumping of rain the past couple days - quite welcome although it tends to flood into our garage a little when it comes too fast. But the little submersible pump I got on Amazon.com really helps limit the flooding.
This weekend we have 28 stamp auctions closing, starting around 6pm Sunday evening - pacific time. Couple stamps from the early 20th century: Scott 348 (MNH), 319/320 (MNH), J46 (MNH), 571 (MNH), and 1053 (MNH). The others are from the 19th century and include Scott 1, 17 (horizontal pair), 211, 73, 77, 115, 116, 117, 155, 78, 94, 88, 63, 90, 68, 71, 36, and a few Officials. The highlights are really that Scott #1 and the #17 pair - very nice! One other note is that Scott 78. Quite often the 70/78 issues cause problems for collectors because the colors are not always pronounced. Well, this one really has a nice fresh, post office color to it - take a look!
So, have fun bidding, don’t get sniped, and watch out for that big storm system moving east!
