Greetings fellow philatelists! And to anyone else just reading the blog. Then again, I have no idea if ANYONE reads these words of wisdom. Well, our weather has been up and down, temperature wise. Couple days in the mid 80’s then a few over a hundred. Tomorrow is supposed to be one of the latter. Ughh…
I put up 40 (yes 40) stamp auctions this past Sunday evening and all will come to a close this coming Sunday evening, July 1. Got several of those very, very nice mint plate number singles, a handful of error / mis-perf stamps, and some 19th century classics like Scott 9, 24, 17, 38, 73, 68, 71, 76, and 69. So jump on them ahd have yourself a firecracker of a Sunday evening!
In addition to those auctions, I also put up another fixed price / make offer stamp: a nice Scott 31, the green 10¢ Washington Type I stamp from 1857. The stamp has a 2018 expertization certificate with it. Catalog value for this classic is $1,200 in the Scott 2017 US Specialized.
