Hi folks - tonight (Saturday) we’ve got 17 stamp auctions coming to a close. Once again, they are all mid-19th century classics with fancy cancels of one sort or another. As of this writing there are still three with no bids so you’ve got an opportunity to get some on the cheap!
Some highlights: there are two different Scott 67 (SCV $700+) to be had, one with a huge star-in-circle cancel and the other with a nice red grid cancel. You’ll find a Scott 78b with a big “PAID” cancel, a 70a with a small grid cancel, a 69 with a blue “crab?” cancel, several Scott 65’s with various fancy cancels, and a Scott 72 (90¢ Washington) with a San Francisco Cog Wheel Type III cancel. There are lots of other interesting items there, too.
Please note: we’ve been having our auctions close on Saturdays. Since next Saturday is Christmas, the schedule has been adjusted to have auctions close on the following day - Sunday. That means you won’t find any of our auctions posted until tomorrow evening, 12/19. Same thing for the folowing week, the day after New Years day.
