Hi fellow collectors! Here we are in the middle of winter and it has been quite a change for us. After having spent the past 34 years in northern California, I'm getting used to the cold climate of Idaho. We’ve not seen temperatures above freezing for a couple weeks. Got several inches of snow two weeks ago and most of it is still piled up where it got shoveled / snowblower’d off the driveway!
Well, tonight we have eight stamp auctions coming to a close. Yeah, that’s right - only eight. Our big fancy cancel collection is nearly gone. Tonight we will post the last four auction items from that collection. After that, only one stamp will remain - a Scott 70b, the steel blue 24¢ Washington. It has been sent out for an expertization certificate. It’ll be posted in our eBay store when we get it back.
Anyway, tonight you’ll find several Scott 65’s with fancy cancels, a Scott 94 F-grill), two Scott 71, a Scott 72, and a Scott 70a.
It’s been a fun ride - wish we had a lot more of these fancy cancel stamps to offer. We’re on the lookout for more to sell, so stay tuned to our eBay store and this site for updates.
