Out Items: 2017.12.03

Greetings friends - welcome to the first auction and related blog for December. Chilly weather here in northern California this week. Foggy mornings, lows in the 30’s and highs in the 60’s. Great weather to be outside during the day. And speaking of which - got to do the outside Christmas decorations this morning.

Tonight we have 26 auctions closing, starting around 6pm Pacific Time. Quite a wide variety of stamps in the mix - mid 19th century, early 20th century, one back of book (a Shermack perf stamp), mint stamps, and used stamps. In the 19th century category, you’ll find Scott 68, 78, 36, 63, 76, 121, and 268-289. Among the early 20th century stamps, there are serveral Washington-Franklin issues (some used, some mint, and some never hinged), Scott 572, 573, 294, 295, 371 (imperf pair), 330, 373 (imperf pair), 611/612 (NH), 368 (imperf pair), and many others. And, several of this week’s items still have no bids!

We put several other items up on eBay on Thursday night as ten day auctions, closing NEXT SUNDAY. Including a mint Scott 382 (CV $240), and a mint Scott J6 Postage Due (SCV: $350).

One other thing to mention - you might be aware that I’m an amateur radio operator (ham radio). A friend of mine is selling one of his radios and has asked me to put it on eBay for him. This radio is less than a year old and cost well over $1,000 when new. It is in perfect condition, cosmetically and operationally. If you are a ham and in need of a great previously owned rig - take a look at this nice Icom IC-7300.

Have fun bidding and feel free to buy yourself some nice items for Christmas!!
