Our Items: 2017.10.14

Greetings my friends. I was going to say “greetings collectors” but then I realized that I’ve got more stuff for sale than stamps! If you look through our eBay store, you’ll see lots of vintage dinnerware, collectables, a pair of Lacoste walking shoes, and upcoming - several slot cars,  HO railroad locomotives, and Scarlet Macaw feathers. So, gotta keep my greeting generic!

Well, this week we have 33 (yes 33) stamp auctions coming to a close on Sunday evening. We’ve got a real mix of philately in those 33 auctions. There are 19th century mint and used stamps, 20th century mint and used stamps, along with four airmail stamps. Starting with the airmail iuuses, you’ll find never hinged Scott C1, C5, and C6. The other sirmail stamp is a used and really nice looking C18 - the 50¢ “baby Zepp” stamp. Some highlights of the 19th and 20th century “front of the book” stamps: Scott 89, 96, 68, 93, 90, 63, 36B, 116, 117, 240, 76, and 73. You’ll also find Scott 401-404 used, 397-400 used, and the entire used set of the Kansas overprints (Scott 658-668). Another item I seldom get to offer is a very lightly hinged Scott 579, the perf 11x10 2¢ carmine Washington stamp. And lastly - two plate number blocks of six of the imperf Scott 314 and 346. Many others not mentioned.

As I type this message on Saturday afternoon, there are still two stamps with no bids! Have fun, enjoy the nice autumn weather, and get your bids in!
