Hi and welcome to the pre-Christmas entry of the web log. Looks like everyone is pretty busy getting ready for Christmas, as there are very few bids placed on the 24 items we’ve got up tor auction this week. All 24 will close on Christmas eve, beginning around 6 pm Pacific Time. There are some really nice items to be had, mint and used along with some interesting back of the book stamps. You’ll find nice stamps like Scott 17, 63, 68, 88, 78, 149, 162, 524 (used $5 Franklin), a mint never hinged 1053 ($5 Hamilton), along with several very early postage dues, Officials, and special delivery stamps.
Our batch of Lego pieces didn’t sell although our price was well below what comparative auctions were going for - so we’ve got it scheduled for re-list on Monday evening.
Note that next week we are launching our items on Monday, Christmas day at 6 pm, instead of on a Sunday. Had we kept it as usual, the auctions would have been closing on New Years Eve, and most people would be getting ready to party down that night, not looking at stamps to buy! So, we’ll be off by a day next week.
