Happy New Year! At my ripe old age I appreciate seeing a January 1 roll around. For that matter, a January 2, 3, 4, and so on!!! We had 36 folks here for a party last night and it didn’t close down untill just after 02:00 this morning. Thank goodness there is coffee on the table to get me going after only a few hour’s sleep.
You probably noticed that our auctions are closing on a Monday night this week. Most likely no one would be in the mood for hunkering over a computer bidding on stamps on New Year’s Eve. Next week we are back to the Sunday night closing routine.
Tonight we’ve got 21 stamp auctions closing, along with a re-listed 3-pound box of assorted Lego pieces. The stamps are once again a mix of mint and used, 19th and 20th century issues. The mint stmps include Scott 552…559, 560, 561, 563, 564, and 569. They are all regular issues from the early 20th century. In the 19th century arena you’ll find nice classics like Scott 68, 63, 88, 73, 77, 87, 162, 78a, 151, 165, 76, 30A, 35, and 214.
Enjoy our offerings and good luck - don’t get sniped!
