Our Items: 2018.01.07

Well, good morning / afternoon! Welcome to the second 2018 entry here in my blog. We finally got rid of that pesky high pressure system and enjoyed a little rain this past week. Having a nice weekend now and we expect more rain on Monday and Tuesday. Great weather for working on stamp collecting, wood working, or whatever interests you inside the house. Nothing wrong with doing stuff outside, but doing it in the rain isn’t my cup of tea!

Tonight we’ve got 29 auctions closing. One is a really nice HO-gauge model railroad locomotive and the other 28 are US stamps. The stamps include a LOT of back-of-the-book items this week. Many Officials, several revenue stamps, a mint Scott E3, a few 19th century envelope cut squares, narcotic stamps, and a handful of local post / carrier’s stamps. All in all, a lot of B-O-B stuff you don’t run across every day.

In addition to those B-O-B stamps, we’ve got nice 19th century US classics like Scott 68a, 63, 76, 96, 35 (red cancel), 148, 190, 7, and 24.

Stay warm, and good luck bidding!
