Out Items: 2017.11.12

Hi folks - late again, but still before the auctions close! As I write this, there are still five hours to go before our stamp auctions start to close. We’ve got 21 items ending this evening, and all are really nice quality offerings. You’ll find Scott 37a (SCV $400), 71 ($200), 78 ($375), 7, 63, 571 (MNH), 572 (MNH), 73, 68, 76, and the ENTIRE set of the Kansas overprints. And, as of this writing, there is a Scott 260 (50¢ 1894 Jefferson, CV $150) that has NO BIDS!

Y’all have only a few hours left to get in your high bids!

One other thing - back in September I had a buyer in Australia report that his stamp was never received. Today I got a note from a buyer in Romania with the same story. His stamp has not been delivered after being mailed a month ago. This results in over $75 of my money refunded and I have no stamp to re-sell. As you probably know, sending a First Class Mail Package (with tracking number) within the US costs $2.61 and that is how EVERY one of my US sales are handled. However, to send a package overseas and get a tracking number is a different story: the fee from the Post Office is $13.25. I doubt many foreign buyers would be willing to pay that much for a stamp mailing unless it was really expensive. So, I’m done with selling my stamps outside the USA. Starting with the items that I put up for bid next week, my sales will be for US addresses only. Well, maybe I’ll ship to Canada, but that’s it. All I can say is sorry - I don’t have enough profit margin to absorb losses like that and my overseas sales amount to only a few per month. Blame the &^%$$# who either lost or stole the envelopes. 😡☹️
